Target programming can be performed manually at the touch of a button on the ZSP or automatically by an external programmer through the ZSP external controller interface.
The target firmware is pre-loaded into the ZSP from a PC via USB using the ZSP configuration program.
The dongle supports all Zilog Z8 Encore and S3 MCUs. Standalone operation means there is no need for PC once the hex file is loaded and the unit is configured.
