Cadence Executives Offer Insight on Memory Trends Impacting Cloud Computing and Mobility

Cadence has announced that it will showcase the company’s expertise in memory design IP at MemCon 2012. Martin Lund, senior vice president of research and development, SoC Realization Group at Cadence, kicks off MemCon 2012 with his keynote speech, “How Cloud and Mobility are Disrupting the Memory Ecosystem” on Tuesday, September 18, from 9:30-10:00 AM.

Continuing the legacy of MemCon, the 2012 conference promises to deliver key insights and a future vision for the memory market. Industry leaders will deliver compelling keynotes in the morning, followed by afternoon breakout sessions focused on memory-specific topics. The conference concludes with a networking reception to relax, unwind and compare notes with industry peers.

Marc Greenberg, director of marketing, SoC Realization, at Cadence, will present a technical session titled LPDDR3 and Wide-IO DRAM: Interface Changes that Give PC-Like Memory Performance to Mobile Devices. The session runs from 2:15-3:30 PM, and will highlight differences in today’s memory technology options to increase DRAM bandwidth in mobile devices.
