Low-noise amplifier with 1.6dB noise figure at 10GHz

In-stock availability and full design support capabilities for a low- noise amplifier from MACOM Technology Solutions is announced by Richardson RFPD.

The MAAL-010528 is a high-performance X-band GaAs low noise amplifier that operates from 8 to 12 GHz.

It provides a nominal gain of 20 dB with excellent gain flatness, OIP3 linearity of +26 dBm, and a noise figure of 1.6 dB at 10 GHz.

The part features a self-bias architecture that requires only a single, positive supply.

The device is internally matched to 50 Ω input/output and is versatile for multiple applications, including VSAT, radar and microwave radios.

Additional key features of the MAAL-010528 include single 4 V bias @ 60 mA and a lead-free 3 mm x 3 mm, 16-lead PQFN surface mount plastic package
