High-gain MMIC amplifier spans 50 to 4000 MHz

Design and sales support for a high gain MMIC amplifier from Qorvo has been announced by distributor RFMW.

The Qorvo QPL7442 is a single-ended gain block matched to 50 ohms.

Spanning 50 to 4000 MHz, it offers 20 dB of flat gain with 20 dBm output power (P1dB) while drawing only 85 mA from a 5V supply.

Using external resistors, the bias is adjustable for optimum performance.

Noise figure is 1.2 dB with OIP3 or 33.7 dBm enabling support of cable, satellite and terrestrial TV applications, home gateways, and cable modems. The amplifer is available in a 2 x 2 mm DFN package.
