Cinch Connectivity Solutions, a Bel group company, announces the launch of its new TFOCA-II Bulkhead Mount Ethernet Unmanaged Switch, the T2F-DTL002-SOHO. This expands the company’s TFOCA-II family, offering enhanced Ethernet networking capabilities for rugged, mission-critical applications. It’s ideal for defence applications like radar systems, tactical vehicle networks, and more.

Based on the T2 DTL series, the new T2F-DTL002-SOHO features a compact, pin-compatible design for seamless, plug-and-play upgrades from existing Media converters. This simplified upgrade path gives engineers greater system configuration flexibility. The switch provides two copper ports that support 10/100BT and two fibre ports for 100BFX optical, efficiently handling Ethernet MAC layer traffic switching across all four.

Engineered to perform in the harshest environments, the T2F-DTL002-SOHO delivers reliable performance under conditions of shock, vibration, and extreme temperatures to meet the MIL-STD-810 standard. It is compliant with IEEE 802.3 Ethernet standards and is ideal for a wide range of defence applications.

“We’re building on the proven reliability of the TFOCA-II series to meet the growing demands of modern tactical networks,” said Grover Brower, General Manager at Cinch. “We’ve engineered this new switch to be a seamless, plug-and-play upgrade for customers already using our converters. This makes it incredibly easy for engineers to expand their network capabilities in rugged environments when they need it the most.”

Summary

  • Product series: T2F-DTL002-SOHO
  • Applications: radar systems, air and missile defence systems, battle command networks, tactical vehicle networks, and other defence applications
