The SpaceSaver keyboard from Devlin offers an ultra small footprint, 60% smaller than a standard keyboard, a maximum of 275 x 155 x 69mm with the desktop version. One key feature that makes the SpaceSaver so popular compared other small footprint keyboards is that it still provides the same functionality as a standard keyboard. This is due to the inclusion of a separate number pad. The importance of the number pad should not be underestimated; the areas the keyboards frequently require high levels of accurate number entry, the number pad is as vital as the reduced footprint.
/> The SpaceSaver keyboard is utilised in a wide range of environments. Devlin have recently completed an order to supply a large quantity to Italy for industrial control applications. The keyboards have also been supplied to financial dealing rooms, telecoms locations and point-of-sale desktops.

As with the majority of Devlin products the keyboard can be modified to incorporate language variants and custom legends without a significant cost implication. The keyboard comes in a total of four standard versions; desktop, tray, panel mount and the glidepoint version. A further option is the addition of a membrane to spill-proof and increase durability, this is particularly important for its industrial applications.

Devlin managing director, Martin Baker, commented “the SpaceSaver keyboard has always proved popular, its versatility means we see it being deployed anywhere from factories to call centres and all sorts of industries in between. The recent spike in demand for these products given the current financial environment we think bears testament to the quality of this product.”
