A 25“ monitor with AH-IPS LED display with Quad HD resolution has been introduced by MMD. This means crystal clear images on a compact screen. The monitor contains 65% recycled plastics and its housing is PVC- and BFR-free, therefore nothing more stands in the way of eco-friendly productivity.

This latest Philips display delivers astoundingly sharp and clear Quad HD 2560x1440 or 2560x1080px images. The outstanding sharpness is made possible by the high-performance panel with an extremely high pixel density. It can reproduce images from different sources with high bandwidth, thanks to DisplayPort, HDMI and dual link DVI. The improved structure of the advanced AH-IPS panel is responsible for the superb colour reproduction, fast response time and low power consumption compared to other wide viewing angle panels.

Regardless of whether the user is in need of extremely detailed information for CAD-CAM work or vivid colour and clarity for 3D graphic applications, this high-quality Philips display will deliver the crystal clear images these users are looking for. Moreover, the monitor has built-in stereo speakers for multimedia and USB 3.0 for fast data transfers and smart phone charging. Altogether, these features enable the user to be more productive.

Because of how brightness is controlled on LED-backlit screens, users often experience flicker on their monitors which can even cause eye fatigue. Philips Flicker-Free Technology regulates brightness and reduces flicker for much more comfortable viewing, even for longer periods of time.

Thanks to its state-of-the-art panel, the outer bezel thickness of the new Philips display is only about 2.5mm. Combined with the in-panel black matrix strip of only 3.5mm, the overall border dimensions are significantly smaller to allow for minimal distractions and maximum viewing enjoyment. Especially designed for multi-display or tiling as in gaming, graphic design and professional applications, the ultra-narrow bezel display will definitely give the viewer the feeling of using a larger display.

Next to the environment-friendly material with a high proportion of recycled plastics, the display also offers great ergonomic features. The advanced SmartErgoBase allows the display to be lowered down almost to desk level for a more comfortable viewing angle. Low bezel-to-table height is suitable for users who wear bifocals, trifocals or progressive lens glasses while working on the computer. Furthermore, it even allows for users of different heights to use the monitor in their preferred angle and height settings. This too helps to reduce fatigue and strain.

The Philips display will be available starting at the end of September 2015 at a price of £289.
