Portwell announces the launch of its PEPPC Touch Panel PC Series, an energy-efficient and powerful fan-less Panel PC with scalable configurations and resistive single-touch screen or projective capacitive multi-touch screen.

Powered by Intel Celeron N3350, Pentium N4200, and Core-i and integrating Intel Gen9 Graphics DX 12. The fanless design ensures silent operation, improved reliability, and reduced maintenance costs.

Equipped with a PCAP (projective capacitive) touchscreen, the Panel PCs are available in the following sizes - 10.1", 12.1", 15", 15.6”, 17", 18.5", 21.5”. The Panel PCs with five wire Resistive Touchscreen are also manufactured in different sizes- 8.0”, 10.1”, 10.4", 12.1", 15", 15.6”, 17",18.5", 19”, 21.5”.

The PEPPC Series features all important interfaces for industrial applications depending on mechanics and housing size: at least 2x display ports, 2x Gigabit Ethernet, different USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 (one front USB on Resistive T/S versions), and it can include up to 3x RS-232/422/485 and 1 or 2x RS-232. Moreover, it allows 1x half-size with PCIe x1 and 1x full-size mSATA (shared with SATAx) with the possibility to add the necessary connectivity providing optional Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and LTE function via a full-size mini-PCIe socket.

New touch technologies, such as excellent noise immunity for any Industrial environment (Conducted Susceptibility 10Vrm), excellent radiated susceptibility support up to 50V/m, premium water resistance performance, and heavy glove support, are implemented on PEPPC PCAP multi-touch screen series Panel PC. It can solve the problem that PCAP multi-touch screens do not operate effectively within an industrial input voltage noise interference environment.
