DISPLAY VISIONS integrates the input of control commands and the display of measured values or parameters into a singular component.

The uniTFT smart touch display product range has the capability to both receive and output data. With built-in I/O and graphics controllers, users have the option to implement small-scale control without the need for additional hardware.

The potential applications for this component are vast. The controller is proficient in arithmetic and logic operations, data communication, and storage. Together with its vibrant colour display and integrated touch screen for data input, it enables the deployment of numerous applications with relative ease. Use cases include switches and controls in home automation, control panels in mobile homes, fitness equipment, and the renewable energy sector. Furthermore, applications in industrial automation are evident. These components can be integrated seamlessly into larger systems and networks. The smart uniTFT displays come with standard interfaces such as I2C, SPI, RS232, and USB. These facilitate data communication with external sensors or microcontrollers. The controllers can process measured values and relay control commands through four analogue inputs and eight flexible I/O interfaces, with the potential to expand these I/Os to 136.

The uniTFT displays, with a typical brightness of 1,000 cd/m2, offer a screen that remains legible even under direct sunlight. The All Angle Colour Stability (AACS) technology ensures content visibility from almost every angle without degradation in quality or contrast. The optically bonded capacitive touch surface supports multi-gesture inputs, fostering intuitive device interaction. Moreover, the displays can produce audible alerts using an in-built audio output, which can be especially useful in alerting emergencies.

DISPLAY VISIONS offers the uniTFTDesigner, a Windows tool, at no cost for application programming. This tool allows users to leverage touch, display functions, and animations. Integrated flash memory in the uniTFT displays can store pre-existing images, fonts, menus, and log files. Demo packs containing a variety of application examples are also accessible.

The uniTFT displays are intended as built-in devices and come in a range of screen sizes from 1.5 inches to 10.1 inches. DISPLAY VISIONS ensures prolonged availability and offers customer support directly from Germany.

Attendees can visit DISPLAY VISIONS at SPS (Booth 330, Hall 8) located in Nuremberg, Germany.
