GPEG brings Long Life LED backlights to its TFT displays

GPEG International has developed a long life LED backlight for its TFT displays. The first in the series is an 8.4 inch SVGA module which has a brightness of 250 nits and a lifetime of 17 years.

The FDT800600LL features a resolution of 800×600 pixels (SVGA), a contrast ratio of 250:1 with a response time of 20mS.

Displaying 262K colours with a wide horizontal (120deg) and vertical (140deg) viewing angle the TFT operates over a wide temperature range of -20~+70 degC.

With its high brightness long life LED backlight and easy to implement LVDS interface the FDT800600LL TFT display is ideal for embedded applications, industrial control systems, marine and medical equipment.

*Based on 8 hours continuous use per day.
