The Anders in-house engineering team has brought together a number of technologies and techniques in order to deliver the new M2C service. These include colour polarisers and LED backlighting options that provide colours such as amber, blue, paper white and ‘ultra paper white’. In addition the team is using silk screen printing techniques to colour individual segments in line with application-specific display requirements.
Commenting on the launch of the new service, Anders Electronics’ CEO Rob Anders states: “At Anders we remain committed to technologies and services that allow displays to enhance the user machine relationship or UMR and that optimise the user experience. This new M2C service is a perfect example of that commitment, providing customers with creative solutions for adding colour to traditionally monochrome displays without the costs that are associated with migrating to a TFT alternative.”
