AUO – transparent TFTs
The taiwanese TFT manufacturer AU Optronics is well known for their big size TFT panels from 27” up to 65”, which are available in different brightness and frame openings already. Now AUO is also producing transparent TFT’s. With these new products which are available in diagonals of 32”, 50” and 65”, a plenty of new applications, such as shopping window, exhibition cabinet, vending machine, etc., can be realized.
The The P5000HVF01.0 for example has got a screen size of 127 cm with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 dots. The outline dimensions are 1147.84 x 704.91 x 22 mm. The optical performance is excellent with a NTSC of 72% and MVA technology. Smaller sizes as 15” are in planning. Additionally to the transparent TFT’s AUO also sees a big future for 4k x 2k - high resolution panels. Please ask for further details such as interface boards or integration support.
