SPC strategies given a boost
The release of LineWorks SPACE 7.1, online SPC (Statistical Process Control) for Industry 4.0, from camLine, offers improvements for normalised charts and specification management. It facilitates the implementation of SPC strategies specifically for environments with high product mix and low volume production runs.
The latest distribution adds over 90 improvements in usability, graphics and reliability and includes an interface to Cornerstone - a separate product to perform data analyses and Design of Experiments (DoE). For industrial manufacturers, a developed infrastructure solution is made available to interactively control manufacturing processes. Inter-site production quality is under constant and precise control, compliant with ISO 9000. The application interacts with numerous data sources and runs tens of thousands control charts in parallel.
This of course includes the extensive automation of corrective actions. It can detect rule violations and immediately induce and pursue measures. The traceability of all data, in particular process data, is provided securely by using an integrated database. Many global manufacturers rely on this capable system designed for high-tech industries which evolved into a de-facto standard for modern SPC, especially in the semiconductor industry.
