RS offers 30% discount on pcb design software
RS Components (RS) is offering a 30% discount on its new DesignSpark PCB Pro software, an upgraded version of its DesignSpark PCB design suite with added productivity features.
DesignSpark PCB Pro is aimed at professional electronic design engineers — especially those working in SMEs.
The software has recently been made available across Europe, having already launched in the UK, the USA and Japan since November 2019.
A perpetual licence costs 449 EUR / 375 GBP excluding VAT— making it attractively priced against similarly featured ECAD software.
Using code ab122a5fb5 users will gain an additional 30% discount until 9 March 2020.
As a result of customer feedback, RS released DesignSpark PCB Pro, with its enhanced feature set, to bridge the gap between complex, expensive, high-maintenance PCB CAD software and low-end, unsupported open source products.
Key productivity features accelerate the design process. These include blind and buried vias, extensive copper pour rules, hierarchical blocks, net class level spacing rules, and manufacturability checks.
An upgraded autorouter optimises the efficiency of the board layout, while enhanced library support allows the latest symbols, footprints and 3D models to be imported.
Customers can access a trial version of the software before buying.
