An automotive supplier will receive all hardware independent AUTOSAR basic software modules, including the operating system and memory management from EB. Furthermore an easy-to-use and well-proven EB tresos tool-chain for application design, configuration, and generation of AUTOSAR Software is also available. NEC Electronics supplies the specified AUTOSAR Microcontroller Abstraction Layer (MCAL), which is completely optimized on hardware from NEC Electronics and acts as an interface between the basic software and hardware.
