Light-Based Technologies Forms Power Supply Design Team

Light-Based Technologies (LBT), the innovative leader in LED-based Solid State Lighting control chip technology, is excited about the creation of their power supply development division in Torrance, Ca. This new location will house a development team led by Peter Shackle.

Peter is well known throughout the lighting industry for his expertise in power supply design. He completed his PhD in physics at Cambridge, and has held a variety of senior positions in top level power supply companies. Most recently Peter was the Chief Technology Officer at Lightech Electronic Industries, Ltd, prior to which he was the Vice-President of Advanced Technology at Fulham Co., Inc.

Peter Shackle brings with him a strong development team in George Du and Luis De Anda. George is a senior engineer, with 24 years of experience as a professional engineer. Luis supports the design efforts of the team while performing testing and documentation support.
This team will initially focus on developing reference designs for the LB4™ family of lighting application specific integrated circuits.
