CadSoft Computer has today revealed that it has released an extended version of the PCB services ULP for EAGLE users. After clicking the PCB services button in EAGLE, the software connects users to the PCB services landing page on element14. Depending on the EAGLE user’s location, the page displays the appropriate local service partner.
In Europe, users can access the prototype PCB fabrication services of Eurocircuits. Additionally, users in the Americas can select between prototype PCB fabrication services, offered by Pentalogix and Sunstone Circuits, and prototype PCB assembly services offered through PCB Assembly Express and Screaming Circuits.

After selecting the prototyping partner, customers can individualise their quote request. EAGLE transfers the design data automatically to the partner’s online quoting engine. Another mouse click to confirm the order details and within 24 hours the prototype can be delivered.

“We have selected our PCB service partners with best care to provide our customers with a reliable, professional and high-quality service. Furthermore, customer in the Americas can order their fully assembled prototypes through our partners PCB Assembly Express and Screaming Circuits. With this integrated service, EAGLE not only saves money but also a lot of time,” commented David Shen, Premier Farnell’s Group Chief Technology Officer.

The new PCB prototyping ULP can be downloaded from the CadSoft website here. The ULP works for EAGLE version 5.10 and higher.
