Audio Precision new APx500 Software with ARM CPU support

Audio Precision has announced the release of APx500 software version 9.0.1 Beta, now supporting ARM CPU architecture, commonly found in mobile and Apple silicon devices.

This software version allows users to run APx500 directly on ARM-based Windows PCs, including the latest Microsoft Surface devices, and on Mac computers via virtual machine software such as Parallels Desktop.

In the interest of getting this functionality to our Mac / ARM users as early as possible, we are offering the 9.0.1 software as a feature-complete Beta to gather feedback before final validation. It is available as a download from the Audio Precision website for customers holding licenses valid for APx500 v9.0.

This release is part of our effort in enabling broader access to AP’s high-performance audio analysis tools and fits into our legacy of empowering engineers in bringing to life the next wave of audio product technology.
