The BeMicro SDK comes in a plug-and-play USB stick form factor and includes an FPGA-based board, software development tools and hands-on labs. The kit is fully supported with an open-source Eclipse-based integrated design environment, templates and board support package. Other features include an Ethernet port, microSD slot, on-board sensors and operating systems support.
BeMicro SDK helps software engineers leverage the unique benefits of soft-core processors with the added convenience of using familiar software tools. Designers using the BeMicro SDK will experience many similarities with their current software development environments while providing them insight into the benefits soft-core FPGA processors provide.
BeMicro SDK is the next-generation of the successful Arrow and Altera BeMicro evaluation board that launched in 2009. Since the initial launch of BeMicro, more than 1,500 design engineers have been trained on the board in 100 Arrow workshops held around the world.
