X-ES Announces XCalibur4301: A 6U CompactPCI Single Board Computer with Intel Core i7 Processor

Extreme Engineering Solutions, Inc. (X-ES) announces the immediate availability of XCalibur4301, a conduction- or air-cooled 6U CompactPCI Single Board Computer (SBC) based on the Intel Core i7 processor. For upgrades to existing commercial, industrial and military 6U cPCI applications, the XCalibur4301 delivers significant performance and efficiency improvements over previous SBCs.
The XCalibur4301 is a powerful solution for the next generation of compute intensive embedded applications with a feature set that includes:

• Intel Core i7-610E, -620LE, and -620UE processors

• Dual-core with hyper-threading technology

• Two channels of up to 16 GB (8 GB each) DDR3-1066 ECC SDRAM

• Up to 128 GB of NAND flash and 32 MB of NOR flash

• Front- and rear-panel Gigabit Ethernet ports

• Front- and rear-panel graphics ports

• Two PrPMC/XMC sites

• Complies with PICMG 2.0, 2.1, 2.3, 2.9, 2.16

• In-house X-ES operating system support includes:

o Green Hills INTEGRITY™ Board Support Package (BSP)

o Wind River VxWorks™ BSP

o QNX Neutrino™ BSP

o Linux BSP

o Windows drivers

• Guaranteed 4-hour technical response to all hardware and software questions



To satisfy the widest range of applications, from telecommunications to military applications, the XCalibur4301 is engineered to scale from an air-cooled, commercial (0 to 55ºC) version to a rugged, conduction-cooled (-40 to +85ºC) version with appropriate environmental test methods.
