Touch panel PC operates from -20 to +55°C

A streamline 15” stainless steel panel computer featuring a multi-touch and full flat front bezel has been released by Axiomtek. Alongside the dual core Intel Atom processor E3827 at 1.75GHz, the GOT815-834 supports one DDR3L SO-DIMM with up to 8GB. 

The all-in-one industrial-grade touch panel PC is equipped with a 15” TFT XGA LCD with 420 nits high brightness and a projected capacitive touch screen or flat resistive touch screen. Its secured design, fanless and noiseless advantages, and IP66-rated waterproof enclosure keep the entire panel system working efficiently and reliability in harsh environments against hazards including dust, dirt, water, oil and chemicals. The GOT815-834 is a suitable HMI platform for applications in food and chemical industries, pharmaceutical industry, transportation and oil pipeline monitoring. 

The device adopts a slim design and flexible architecture for fast facility deployment. To keep all cables tightly secured, the panel PC comes equipped with M12-type connectors, including two COM ports (RS-232/422/485), two high-speed USB 2.0 ports and one GigE port. Additionally, two PCIe Mini Card slots are available for wireless network connections.

The GOT815-834 supports one 2.5" SSD and one CompactFlash socket and features various mounting options: wall mount, suspension, VESA arm and desktop stand. Moreover, the panel PC is certified with CE to meet industry grade approval standards. The device, which is compatible with Windows 7 and 8, will be available from June.

“The GOT815-834 has an IP66-rated, water/dust-proof 316 grade stainless enclosure and six IP66-rated M12-type connectors to resist ingress of high temperature and high pressure water,” said Debbie Tu, Product Manager, Product Marketing Division, Axiomtek. “It was tested by a spray nozzle with 80°C high temperature water and a flow rate of 14-16l/min at a distance of 10-15cm away from the device at angles of 0, 30, 60 and 90° for 30 seconds each. It supports a wide operating temperature range of -20 to +55°C. Furthermore, it adopts a 9V-36V DC power input range. This robust unit is best suited for extreme humidity, dusty or wet environments such as food factories or kitchens, pharmaceutical factories and other harsh applications.”
