Toradex Announces the Integration of Nvidia’s Latest Tegra T20 Cortex A9 MPCore (Dual Core) Processor to its Colibri Product Range

Toradex announced a new addition to the Colibri product range. The Colibri Tegra T20 is based on the latest Nvidia Tegra T20 Cortex A9 MPCore (Dual Core) processor and will be arriving in Q4 2010.

The Colibri Tegra T20 will offer increased CPU performance through dual cores operating up to 1.0GHz and supports 1080p HD video playback, with a range of display resolutions up to 1920×1080. The processor’s ultra low power Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) also boasts 3D rendering capabilities for advanced graphics applications. On-board memory will include 256MB DDR RAM and 1GB flash.

This latest module is fully pin compatible with the current Colibri product family, allowing existing customers to smoothly migrate designs to take advantage of the latest technology.
