Switches provide reliable operation in tough environments

Providing reliable operation in tough environments, the MicroMax family of rugged switches, comprised of the M-Max SW208, SW216 and SW21X/PS, is a lineup of ruggedised Gigabit Ethernet Layer 2+ Managed Switches. Each can accept a wide range of power and each is tested and guaranteed for temperatures of -40 to 75°C. Their rugged enclosures are designed according to the VITA75 footprint. The SW208 has 8x 10/100/1,000 Mbps copper twisted pair ports while the M-Max SW216 offers 16x Gigabit Ethernet ports.

The M-Max SW21X/PS provides even more options and can be equipped with either 12x, 14x or 16x Gigabit Ethernet ports.

The M-Max SW21X/PS is in compliance with MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-461F and its embedded power supply is in compliance with MIL-STD-704F and MIL-STD-1275D. Extended salty fog protection is also available for the M-Max SW21X/PS upon request. Support for control and management is through a web interface, and host processor access is through a Command Line Interface (CLI).
