The Ethernet PHY Board is prototyping tool for LAN8720 – 100BASE-TX transceiver specifically designed for embedded electronics, industrial and enterprise applications. The LAN8720 connects via an RMII interface. It also support HP Auto-MDIX, employ SMSC’s proprietary flexPWR® technology. Besides this tool contains 25Mhz oscillator circuit which is required for PHY operating. On-board RJ45 connector allows easier connection to Ethernet. Also this board can be connected with external electronic circuits via connection pads.
