The units all feature a stainless steel IP65 front bezel, making them exceptionally suitable for public-facing Point of Service applications such as information kiosks, ticket machines and other self-service uses. Second screen support is provided making the POS-SS particularly suitable for EPOS where its full range of interfaces and support peripherals such as cash drawers, bar code readers and credit card readers ensure simple installation.
The units are a complete PC with all the usual features including Gigabit LAN and serial and parallel ports; they support all popular operating systems, ensuring an easy field implementation. The internal hard disc size can be specified to suit individual requirements. The weight and size of the unit are kept to a minimum by using an external auto-ranging “power brick”.
