Connector cornucopia showcased at DSEi 2015
DSEi 2015 will provide a platform for Smiths Connectors to launch it latest conector series. The company will highlight its innovative SATA 6.0Gbps connectors (Nebula Series), designed and manufactured to ensure optimal performance, reliability, durability and safety in critical military and defence applications.
Ideal for rugged data storage applications, the Series employs the Hypertac hyperboloid contacts which provides immunity to shock and vibration fretting and features an outstanding 100,000 mating cycles.
Based on the latest materials and contact technology, the newly developed high reliability fibre channel D-sub 150Ohm quadrax connectors will also be displayed.
Capable of supporting 6.25Gbps, this range of connectors incorporates integrated EMI spring fingers that provide unmatched EMI performance.
DSEi 2015 takes place at London's Excel Centre (September 15-18).
