Focus EDL announces a series of antennas designed specifically to satisfy applications in a wide range of wireless devices. The new omni-directional antennas are compatible with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, ZigBee , as well as ISM (industrial, scientific and medical) frequency bands.
The antennas provide a broad 360º coverage to improve point-to-multipoint transceiving between devices on wireless local area networks.

Manufactured by Pulse, the series is RoHS compliant and comprises six models characterised by their frequency and gain. They operate from 2.4 to 2.5GHz and 5.15 to 5.85GHz nominal frequency and have an impedance of 50O. Four of the models offer gains of approximately 2.0 dBi while two provide a higher gain performance of over 3.0 dBi. All models are dipole with a fundamental resonance of ¼ wavelength and vertical polarization.

The antennas come in a range of form factors, connectors and colour options and all models have articulated swivel-mounts with integrated SubMiniature version A (SMA) connectors.
