Io Audio announces ¼” Phone Jack in full- or half-threaded options

New Yorker Electronics has announced Io Audio Technologies’ release of the Tiny Jack (TJ) Series of Horizontal PCB ¼” Phone Jacks in Full- or Half-Threaded nose versions.

The TJ Series features a slim design with a high packing density in black, plastic housing for audio and control.

Offering both full and half-threaded options accommodates a wide range of panel thicknesses. The Io Audio TJ Phone Jack series provides a switched-contact design making them appropriate for design-in applications where the termination method is to a printed circuit board and where the independent control of switched contacts is required.

The compact form factor of these connectors makes them applicable in situations where space saving is a priority, or space for a connector is limited. Both versions fit an 11.4mm chassis cutout.

The full-threaded version is available with silver-plated pins in 4-pin Mono-Switched (IO-TJ4HF) and 6-pin Stereo-Switched (IO-TJ6HF) options and half threaded in IO-TJ4HH and IO-TJ6HH.
