The new products include PCB contact versions in varying tail lengths to suit most dimensional requirements and PCB stand-off connectors that remove stress from the contacts and are specifically designed for high vibration environments. In addition to preventing de-coupling, the stand-off design also takes up much less space than conventional products.
Versions with an integrated clinch nut ensure secure locking of both panel-mount and box-mount connectors while avoiding the use of nuts and washers and through-bulkhead versions allow plug connection on both sides of a bulkhead creating a sealed barrier. In-line receptacles are included that enable cables to be easily linked together. There is also a version of the free connector with an integral backshell that enables easy termination of a shielded cable and/or heat shrink boot.
