The connectors are offered with vertical and right angle solder PCB terminations in two tail diameters. Optionally available with flying leads, the WCBD connectors feature mounting accessories and hardware that prevent water and dust ingress into the enclosure. The connectors, which are also optionally available with a closed entry PosiBand female contact, are provided with a composite mounting plate. Alongside an optional stainless steel shell and heavy gold plating, this offers long-term corrosion resistance.
Connectors feature waterproofing & ingress protection
To meet the demand for connectors with waterproofing and ingress protection, Positronic has introduced the WCBD series. The connectors, which are waterproof versions of the Combo-D mixed power/signal connectors, mix power and signal in a single connector body capable of up to 40A per size 8 contact. Alongside an IP67 rating, the WCBD connectors feature a flexible, thermal-resistant adhesive seal.
