Each connector is made from an economical, electrically conductive ZEBRA core that is supported by a low compression force silicone sponge on either one or two sides. These soft supports create a larger base width and eliminate the need to install a separate holder. This Fujipoly connector is available in a large selection of widths to accommodate LCDs with a minimum glass lip overhang of 1.5mm (0.060”).
The carbon-based ZEBRA connectors provide a current carrying capacity of 0.050mA per 0.040×0.040” pad and can be specified with 140, 240 or 500 conductive layers per inch.
