A tough new range of stainless steel electronic enclosures has been launched by ROLEC for challenging industrial environments. The new inoBOX is designed for demanding applications including marine and offshore, petrochemicals, dairy and food manufacturing. It is rated IP 66 and NEMA 4X for ingress protection and IK08 EN 62262 for impact resistance.

These smart, modern enclosures can be wall mounted either through the base or with external brackets (providing added protection against leaks). There are spacers in the base to accommodate circuit boards, supporting rails or mounting plates. Inside the lid is an M5 earthing bolt.

The inoBOX range comprises 14 sizes (100x100x90mm to 400x300x120mm) in two grades of 1.2 mm thick polished stainless steel: 1.4301/A2 (AISI 304) and 1.4404/A4 (AISI 316).

The A2 enclosures feature single-channel lid and assembly fastening to maximise interior space. The A4 versions have separate channels. Both versions guarantee perfect leak-tightness. They are fitted with polyurethane (PU) gaskets (temperature resistance - 40 to +80°C).

Options and accessories include external mounting brackets, mounting plates, cross rails and supporting rails for series terminals.

ROLEC’s in-house laser processing centre can process the inoBOX in small volumes and at short notice. Other customising services include powder coating, wet painting, printing, engraving, laser engraving, EMC shielding, membrane keypads and assembly.
