The enclosures consist of an extruded case section and two tough flanged ABS end panels which are mounted by self-tapping screws. The case extrusion is painted with fine texture powder paint in either off-white RAL 9002 or black RAL 9004. The matching end panels are light grey RAL 9018 and dark grey RAL 7012 respectively.
The case section features internal guide rails for mounting slide-in PCBs, and recessed areas on the top and bottom can be used for mounting membrane keypads or product labels. The end panels are also recessed for keypads or to protect the connectors and switches. Prices start from £6.50.
The TEKAL-E range consists of 30 individual models with external dimensions from 70 x 60 x 31 mm to 175 x 106 x 46 mm. Twelve models are offered with a battery compartment for 1.5V AA or 9V cells.
TEKO can supply the ‘TEKAL’ enclosures fully customised with additional holes for push-buttons, connectors and controls, plus silk-screen printed legends and logos. The cases can also be painted in alternative colours.
