SolidRun and AMD unveil new Ryzen V3000 CX7 CoM

SolidRun has introduced its Ryzen V3000 CX7 Com Module, marking a significant advancement in networking and Edge solutions. 

This latest offering is powered by the AMD Ryzen Embedded V3C48 Processor, featuring eight cores and 16 threads. Utilising AMD's cutting-edge 6nm "Zen 3" architecture, the module stands out for its exceptional performance and energy efficiency.

Hailing from Barcelona and Tel Aviv on 27 February 2024, SolidRun, renowned for its high-performance System on Module (SOM) solutions, Single Board Computers (SBC), and network Edge solutions, unveiled the Ryzen V3000 CX7 Com Module. This module is SolidRun's inaugural venture into x86-based Com Express 7 modules, ushering in a new era of computing efficiency for a broad spectrum of networking and Edge applications.

The Ryzen V3000 CX7 Com Module, leveraging the AMD Ryzen Embedded V3000 processor, offers unmatched processing power, thermal efficiency, and high-speed I/O connectivity in the COM Express Type 7 form factor. With AMD's "Zen 3" CPU x86 core architecture, the module ensures superior CPU performance, scalability, and reliability, ideal for a wide array of storage, networking, and Edge systems.

The module's comprehensive suite of integrated I/O interfaces includes support for up to 20 lanes of PCIe Gen4, facilitating high-speed data transfer across networking, storage, and acceleration applications. Dual 10Gb Ethernet MAC ensures top-tier connectivity, while support for up to 96GB of dual-channel 64-bit DDR5 memory (ECC/non-ECC) enhances memory efficiency and data integrity, making the module well-suited for high-demand networking, Edge computing, and storage applications.
