MikroElektronika's MIKROE-5991 LTE Cat.4 3 Click board is a compact add-on multi-band and data-only mode solution, offering universal connectivity and reliable performance.

It is in stock at authorised distributor DigiKey.

This board features the u-blox LARA-L6004D-01B LTE Cat 4 module in an extremely small form factor. The Click supports a wide range of advanced features including DualStack IPv4/IPv6, firmware updates over-the-air (FOTA/uFOTA), lightweight M2M (LwM2M), and jamming detection, making the board ideal for various IoT and networking applications.

The module operates across four frequency bands ranging from 700 MHz to 2,600 MHz and comes with two SMA antenna connectors for enhanced signal reception, including support for LTE Down-Link MIMO 2x2 and 3G RX diversity.

It houses a nano SIM card holder that is compatible with 1.8 V and 3.0 V SIMs, a high-speed USB 2.0 interface for connectivity, and a standard UART interface for communication with the host MCU.

The LTE Cat.4 3 Click is a perfect solution for developing asset tracking, telematics, remote monitoring, alarm panels, video surveillance, and more. The MIKROE-5991 is fully compatible with the mikroBUS socket and host systems supporting the mikroBUS standard. The supported mikroSDK-compliant library includes functions that simplify software development.

This Click comes fully tested and is ready to use in systems equipped with the mikroBUS socket.
