AAEON, a premier industrial PC manufacturer, presents a new half-size board with the high-performing Intel Atom D525 processor with Intel® ICH8M chipset: HSB-525I. Its integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3150 enhances the overall quality of the HSB-525I.
The HSB-525I supports two 204-pin DDR3 800 MHz SODIMM up to 4 GB. For storage devices, HSB-525I has three SATA 3.0Gb/s ports, one CompactFlash™ Type II socket and one ATA100 to support different needs of applications. Equipped with rich I/O ports, HSB-525I comes with five USB2.0 ports, two Gigabit Ethernet connectors, one 18-bit single channel LVDS connector, one RS-232, one RS-232/422/485 serial port and supports one Audio Jack (Mic-in/Line-out).

HSB-525I has a low-power platform that consumes less than 16 watts, states Jason Liu, Product Manager of AAEON's Industrial System Division. This low power but high performing product makes this board ideal for work station and control units under Industrial Control and Automation vertical markets. Since HSB-525I also supports CRT and LCD simultaneously with an optional HD Codec Audio board, it is an ideal product for exigent multimedia-based applications. In addition, end users can apply the flexible expansion of I/O ports and storage into the current embedded markets.

HSB-525i is a half-size ISA card which makes it a great option to upgrade ISA legacy devices. Aside from work with a back plane, HSB-525i needs only 12V and 5V power and this feature lets HSB-525I be a stand-alone SBC. The embedded lifecycle support within HSB-525I improves your product by providing extended product availability for customers. Moreover, the Intel® Hyper-Threading Technology enables high performance-per-watt to invigorate the system during multi-tasking settings. The 0 ~ 60 C operating temperature creates an optimal atmosphere for your embedded industrial products to thrive in.
