GaN evaluation board enables cost-effective solutions
A new evaluation board from GaN Systems is announced by distributor Richardson RFPD backed by design support
The GS-EVB-HB-66508B-ON1 evaluation board consists of an NCP51820 gate drive solution from ON Semiconductor, with two GaN Systems GS66508B GaN E-HEMTs in a fully functional, highly integrated half-bridge.
The 1MHz operation and 200V/ns CMTI allow high power density GaN-based system designs.
The board allows users to easily evaluate GaN in an ultra-small layout with the NCP51280 gate driver, for a highly cost-effective solution.
The GS-EVB-HB-66508B-ON1 is suitable a range of applications, including AC-DC adapters for mobile, OLED TV, gaming, data centre power supplies and PV inverters/ESS.
