emotii.ai, a UK-based developer of emotionally intelligent multilingual communication software, has formed a strategic partnership with Chinese hardware startup kikaGO.AI to integrate emotion-sensitive, real-time translation into the latter’s call-translating earbuds.

The deal will make emotii.ai the official large language model (LLM) provider for kikaGO.AI, combining emotii.ai’s emotionally aware multilingual AI with kikaGO.AI’s translation hardware. The partnership is expected to expand kikaGO.AI’s spoken language coverage from 30 to more than 70 languages.

Founded to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps in digital communication, emotii.ai’s platform offers live interpretation in over 70 languages and text translation in more than 126, capturing emotional cues such as tone, context, and humour. The company positions its technology as a step towards making machine-mediated communication more human.

kikaGO.AI, which gained attention in Asia for its two-way call-translating earbuds, aims to eliminate communication barriers across voice and video platforms including WhatsApp, WeChat, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. By partnering with emotii.ai, kikaGO.AI plans to expand into the US, UK, and European markets.

“For us, understanding should be universal,” said emotii.ai founder and chief executive, Sumit Sachdeva. “By integrating our emotionally aware AI into kikaGO.AI’s earbuds, we’re turning everyday communication into a truly human experience — beyond words.”

Zhou Chao, founder and chief executive of kikaGO.AI, said the collaboration would help the company achieve its goal of connecting cloud-based AI models with third-party applications. “We believe our cooperation can fully demonstrate what AI is truly capable of,” he said.

The partnership marks a further step in emotii.ai’s push to position itself as a key AI engine for technology firms seeking to embed emotion-aware communication into their products.
