Global provider of vehicle dash cams, Mio, has launched its MiVue C Series of dash cams. The cameras are a driving assistant and include features such as night vision, auto power on to record whole journeys, 3 Axis G-Sensors to instantly store footage when a sudden change in movement is detected and high definition quality video capture.

In addition to the above features, the C330 and C380 also feature integrated GPS with speed alarms and lifetime speed camera updates whilst the C380 additionally offers all round vision with a rear camera for a complete solution, both cameras using high quality Sony sensors for clarity of picture.

For peace of mind whilst driving, Mio’s dash cams have the ability to record every journey the vehicle takes including capturing the moment of an impact so footage can help drivers to provide proof before, during and after an accident.

Auto power on
With auto power on, the MiVue C series dash cams begin recording as soon as the vehicle starts moving so that the driver can focus on their journey ahead with minimal distractions or disruption to their existing driving habits. This feature allows Mio dash cams to blend in to everyday life with ease.

Integrated GPS and lifetime speed camera updates
There is also the ability with the C330 and C380 models to record the entire route using the integrated GPS, ensuring every detail is captured in suitable quality.

This includes speed, altitude, longitude, latitude and heading which could prove invaluable in the event of a claim. No need to worry about speeding fines either as the safety camera data, which updates for the lifetime of the device, will ensure you are always under the speed limit.

Capture all the details at 1080p Full HD Recording
Aside from C310 (720p), all other models within the C series range are designed with a Full HD 1080 pixel camera and F2.0 lens to ensure the footage captured is high quality and bright, even in low light conditions. The 130° wide-angle lens captures every detail, invaluable at any critical moments.

3-Axis G-Sensor
The entire MiVue C series range are equipped with a 3-Axis G-Sensor which is able to detect any sudden changes of movement that may be as result of an accident or even just a ding.

The footage is then automatically stored and cannot be overwritten so is easily accessible for evidence in insurance investigations. The camera mode allows drivers to also take close up shots following the accident if required.

MiVue Manager
Using the intuitive MiVue Manager desktop application, it is simple to view HD video playback and combine and share videos on YouTube and Facebook.

Videos can be organised easily using the video organiser and it is also possible to include a GPS overlay in Google maps to show a moving map of the vehicles route synchronised with the video. The Direction Analyser displays any 3-axis G-forces and shows the direction of driving in time with the clip.
