The industry's smallest C-mount camera module has been unveiled at the Vision show, Stuttgart by Sony Europe's Image Sensing Solutions (ISS) division. At 19x29x29mm the Micro XCD camera has a footprint smaller than a £2 coin. The module weighs just 37g and is 2/3 the cubic size of previous modules from Sony.

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. today released a new 600 V, 47 A n-channel power MOSFET with ultra-low maximum on-resistance of 0.07 Ω at a 10 V gate drive and an improved gate charge of 216 nC in the TO-247 package. The SiHG47N60S's 15.12 Ω-nC gate charge times on-resistance, a key figure of merit (FOM) for MOSFETs used in power conversion applications, is the industry's lowest for this device type.
