High performance DC/DC converters for harsh railway and industrial environments
The QBE75W and QBE100W represent the latest generation of DC/DC converters, designed to seamlessly replace the QAE100W series. Engineered to meet the rigorous demands of industrial and railway (rolling stock) applications, these converters significantly enhance conversion efficiency, achieving an average of 92%. This improvement reduces power losses, allows for a wider operating temperature range, and enables smaller heatsink designs.
Featuring a versatile 4:1 input voltage range of 9 to 36 Vdc, 18 to 75 Vdc, and 40 to 160 Vdc, the QBE75W and QBE100W series cater to various power systems across different regions. They provide a comprehensive selection of output voltage options, including 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24, 28, 48, and 54 Vdc, with an adjustable output range of +10 to -20% using an external resistor.
Equipped with multiple protective features, the QBE75W and QBE100W series ensure system safety through over-current protection (hiccup mode), output over-voltage protection (hiccup mode), continuous and auto-recovery output short-circuit protection, input under-voltage lockout, output remote sensing, and remote control capabilities. They are certified to comply with industry standards such as IEC/EN/UL62368-1, EN 50155, and EN 45545.
Designed to withstand harsh environments and demanding conditions in the railway and industrial sectors, the QBE series meets MIL-STD 810F and EN 61373 standards for vibration and mechanical shock, and operates effectively at altitudes up to 5,000 metres. This makes them an excellent choice for powering electronic devices in rolling stock, offering high reliability and stability.

These converters comply with EN 50155 standards for rolling stock electronics and EN 61373 for shock and vibration resistance, ensuring robust operation in harsh environments.

Key features include S2/S3 supply interruption solutions, inrush current limitation, reverse polarity protection, EMI filtering compliant with EN 55032 Class A/B, and an integrated line fuse, simplifying system integration and reducing development time. The 12:1 wide input voltage range (14V to 160Vdc) enables adaptation to diverse railway power systems worldwide with a single module. Single and dual output options (3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24, ±5, ±12, ±15Vdc) are available. Comprehensive protection features – over-current, short-circuit, over-voltage, under-voltage lockout, and over-temperature – ensure maximum system safety and reliability.
These converters operate at altitudes up to 5000m and maintain full load performance above 70℃, making the URCD10U, URCD20U, and URED40U series ideal for railway, rolling stock, and trackside applications.

The TAD150 series AC/DC power supply is designed for demanding industrial applications, featuring advanced switching topology and high-efficiency conversion. It provides 130W (natural convection) or 150W (forced air cooling) continuously, with up to 200W peak power, ideal for surge-starting and intermittent high-power applications.

Complying with IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 safety standards, it offers reinforced insulation with a 3000VAC input-to-output isolation voltage, ensuring safe operation in harsh environments. It meets EN55032 Class B emissions tests and comprehensive EMI/EMS testing, ensuring stable performance.
For high-altitude applications, the TAD150 includes an OVC III (2000m) option. Its wide temperature range (-40 to +85°C) and derating curves ensure reliable operation under extreme conditions. With synchronous rectification technology, it achieves efficiencies of 92-94% and a high power factor (0.95), minimizing harmonic pollution and meeting EN61000-3-2 Class D standards. Its ultra-low no-load power consumption (0.2W) complies with energy-saving regulations.
Available in Open Type, Enclosed Type, and Din Rail Type, the TAD150 supports various connector options (Molex, JST, Terminal Block) and has a wide input voltage range (AC 85-264V / DC 88-370V) for global compatibility.
The TAD150 includes multiple protections: Overvoltage Protection (110-135% Vnom), Overload Protection (160% rated), Short Circuit Protection (Hiccup mode), and Overtemperature Protection (125°C). With an MTBF of 724,500 hours (MIL-HDBK-217F, 25°C full load), it ensures exceptional reliability.
