Rutronik expands its portfolio with the new CMOS operational amplifiers of the TLRx728 and BD728x series from ROHM. The 17 newly introduced devices combine high precision, low noise and fast response, making them suitable for a wide range of applications – from sensor signal processing and motor control to current sensing and power supply monitoring.

The increasing complexity of modern electronic systems, particularly in automotive and industrial environments, is driving demand for high-accuracy and high-speed analogue components. In applications such as sensor signal amplification, minimising signal error and delay while maintaining high efficiency is essential.

With the TLRx728 and BD728x series, ROHM addresses these requirements by offering a well-balanced combination of low input offset voltage, low noise and high slew rate. The TLRx728 series features an input offset voltage of typically 150µV, while the BD728x series offers 1.6 mV (typ.). Both series achieve a noise voltage density of 12nV / √Hz at 1kHz and a slew rate of 10 V/µs, enabling accurate and fast signal processing.

Thanks to rail-to-rail input and output capability, the full supply voltage range can be utilized, ensuring a wide dynamic range. This is particularly beneficial in applications with limited supply voltages.

Another key advantage is the high level of flexibility. The devices are available in single-, dual- and quad-channel configurations and come in a wide range of packages, allowing optimal selection based on application requirements and PCB design.

The operational amplifiers are ideally suited for sensor signal processing, current detection circuits, motor control and power supply monitoring systems. By combining high performance with versatility, the series enables use across a broad spectrum of applications rather than being limited to specific use cases.
