Suitable for medical, industrial and IT applications, the LPS360-M series of 360W AC/DC power supplies has been released by Artesyn Embedded Technologies. The open frame devices, which have a 76.2x127mm footprint, are available in 12, 15, 24, and 48V adjustable outputs with a 5V standby output at 2A and a 12V fan output at 1A.

Operating across an input range of 90–264VAC or 120-300VDC, the power supplies feature a typical active PFC of 0.99 and an efficiency of 93% at full load. The devices operate across a temperature range of 0 to 50°C or -40 to 70°C with derating.

Offered with overvoltage, overload and thermal overload protections, the LPS360-M power supplies feature remote sense and power fail logical control, as well as a digital I2C interface which uses the industry standard PMBus protocol.

The devices are safety approved to TUV/UL/cULus EN60950 for ITE, EN60601-1 for medical equipment, carry the CE Mark (LVD), have a CB certificate and report and are CCC approved. Available now in production quantities, the power supplies are priced from $110 each. On request, an enclosure kit is available (LPX200).
