Delivering 600W without fan assisted cooling from a compact 8.5x4.5x1U package; the CoolX600 is a convection-cooled modular power supply from Excelsys Technologies. The CoolX600 carries Medical Safety approvals and offers system designers performance for efficiency and reliability in addition to what the company claims is the most comprehensive feature set and specifications available. A five year warranty is also available.
The CoolX600 is fully safety certified to IEC60601-1 3rd edition and IEC60601-1-2 4th Edition (EMC) for medical applications. Stand-out medical features include BF rating (Body Floating), dual fusing, 2x MOPP, and <300uA leakage current. Other features include 4KV input surge immunity and the ability to withstand input voltages of up to 300VAC making it well suited for use in remote locations and those subject to input voltage disturbances.
Delivering 25% longer lifetimes, the CoolX600 provides thermal performance attained with system fans or additional external conduction cooling. Additional features include a 24W standby power outputs (5V or 12V) offering effectively another output, for system intelligence, cooling fans, displays etc., 5,000m altitude operation and optional PMBus communications.
The CoolX600 can be populated with up to 4 CoolMods, providing up to 4 isolated DC outputs ranging from 2.5-58.0V. Following the tradition of Excelsys, the CoolX600 offers customers the greatest flexibility and is completely user and field configurable. Outputs can be configured to the required set point voltages and connected in parallel of series for higher output current and/or higher output voltages.
The Excelsys CoolX600 offers system integrators flexibility with analogue and digital management with PMBus monitoring and control capability and is user field configurable with plug and play power. Mounting options include base, side and DIN-rail alternatives
