DIN Rail Power Supply is 90% Efficient
PULS Power Supplies has introduced an addition to its Dimension Series - the 80W QS3 DIN Rail Supply which has a nominal output is 24V at 3.4A continuous load.
Standard features include 100–240VAC universal input with power factor correction to EN61000-3-2, EMC filtering to EN55022-B, safety agency approval to EN60950-1 and UL508 for industrial applications and also UL1604 for hazardous locations.
Up to three QS3 units may be connected in parallel for higher power or N+1 redundancy applications and up to 150VDC output may be achieved by serial connection.
Reliability is quoted at >50,000 and is achieved by active filtering of input transients, use of high quality components, and efficient thermal design. The QS3 will also run from DC voltages in the range 110-300VDC and alternative output voltages are available to special order.
Dimensions are 32x124x102mm and weight is 420g. Wiring connection is via quick-connect spring clamp terminals and a wall-mounting adapter is available for non DIN-Rail applications.
