New and updated products from industrial automation specialists Phoenix Contact have been added to the Conrad Business Supplies’ portfolio of power supply and management products. The new products include the TC Mobile I/O X300 and an Open Data Port (ODP) remote control station.
Also joining the Conrad portfolio are a new range of PSR Mini relays, the Trio Power range of power supplies, and redesigned Safe Energy Control (SEC) technology surge and lightning protection devices.
The PSR Mini relays are one of the world’s slimmest safety relays for safety-related applications, offering the power of a large safety relay. With a compact 6mm width, the relays require up to 70 percent less space than standard sizes, whilst ensuring high standards of safety with positively driven contacts. The relays suit applications in mechanical engineering and the process industry.
The TC Mobile I/O X300 mobile radio module uses a mobile communication network to securely and reliably monitor both analogue and digital signals from remote outstations. The relays can be controlled remotely with an ODP server over the GPRS mobile communications service. The module offers a simple and cost-effective option for monitoring and controlling processes.
The new Trio Power range of supplies has been specially developed for use in machine production, featuring enhanced durability and build quality. The range includes each three single-phase and three-phase power supply units with output currents ranging from 5 to 20A.
In addition Phoenix Contact has redesigned all protective devices in its new product line to be fitted with Safe Energy Control (SEC) technology as standard. The new product family is particularly easy to install, the base unit and plug can be rotated 180° so that the labeling on each can be easily read at any time and the connecting cables remain short.
These new arresters are designed to safely impede secondary currents and have a rugged format which is capable of high performance. They incorporate functionality which includes universal usability of the arresters, making installation, operation, and maintenance easier.
