Multilayer varistors operate at temperatures up to +150°C
While many multilayer varistors currently available are only able to operate up to +125°C, the ZVY series from Stackpole Electronics is capable of operating temperatures of up to +150°C. This higher temperature range makes the multilayer varistors capable of voltage protection for low voltage electronics in a wider range of environments including industrial electronics and engine controls.
The ZVY series multilayer varistors are also suitable for applications including ASIC inputs, controllers, medical devices and instrumentation, audio circuitry and preamps, security systems, LCDs, optics and opto-isolators.
