Yamaha Motor COVID-19 temporary business closure

Yamaha Motor has announced that it will temporarily close all business locations, factories, and offices in Japan for five days, from May 18th to 22th.

The only exceptions to this temporary closure are the Hamamatsu Robotics Building and the Miyakoda Building, two robotics-related facilities based in Kita Ward, Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture.

Additionally, two outboard motor manufacturing facilities – the Fukuroi Minami Factory in Fukuroi and Yamaha Kumamoto Products in Yatsushiro – will carry out production adjustments from June 1st to 15th.

These closures follow Yamaha Motor’s temporary suspension of production at motorcycle- and outboard motor-related factories, as announced on April 9th.
