Imagimob launches DEEPCRAFT Starter Models for Edge AI
Imagimob has launched DEEPCRAFT Starter Models, the latest addition to its DEEPCRAFT Edge AI software portfolio. These free and open-source models provide developers with inspiration and a strong foundation for building custom machine learning models tailored for Edge AI applications.
Each DEEPCRAFT Starter Model includes datasets, preprocessing steps, model architecture, and detailed instructions, enabling developers to refine and optimise them for real-world deployment. By providing these resources, Imagimob aims to lower the barrier to entry for Edge AI development and accelerate the journey from concept to production-ready models.
Anders Hardebring, CEO of Imagimob, stated: “We’re excited to be able to offer machine learning developers an easier path to taking Edge AI models into production. With DEEPCRAFT Starter Models easily accessible in DEEPCRAFT Studio, there’s no barrier to entry.”
A diverse range of models for different applications
The first 12 DEEPCRAFT Starter Models are now available through DEEPCRAFT Studio. Developed by machine learning specialists from Imagimob and Infineon, they support a variety of use cases and sensor types. Each model is designed for a specific application, which developers can further enhance within DEEPCRAFT Studio.
To support customisation, Imagimob provides design support collateral, including recommended sensor configurations and insights into additional data collection strategies. These resources help developers improve accuracy and performance for their specific applications.
Available Starter Models
At launch, Imagimob offers 12 DEEPCRAFT Starter Models, with additional models set to be released regularly. Some of the models available today include:
- Drill material detection using a microphone
- Keyword spotter using a microphone
- Human activity detection using an IMU
- Touch detection using CAPSENSE
- Fan anomaly detection using an IMU
These models, along with others, are available now on imagimob.com/starter-models and within DEEPCRAFT Studio.
