TTI Europe, a specialty distributor of electronic components, announces its presence at Sensor+Test 2023 at booth 1-659. The event takes place from 9—11 2023 May in Nuremberg, Germany.

Visitors to the TTI booth will see a live demonstration of Omron’s B5L 3D time-of-flight (ToF) sensor module, which offers accurate distance measurement of near and far objects, regardless of colour, reflectivity, ambient light, or other conditions.

Target applications include autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), service robots, logistics and warehousing, and building management applications. Also, visitors will see KYOCERA AVX’s SPINpad in action, a precision rotor position sensor capable of measuring from a standstill to 100,000 rpm, essential for efficient E-motor controls.

TTI will show Honeywell’s CSHV series of advanced open loop current sensors. Rated for measurements of up to 1,500A, these AEC-Q100 qualified sensors are designed for battery management systems (BMSs) in electric vehicles. There will also be a range of current sensors designed to meet ASIL-C requirements for safety critical applications, and TTI will introduce a new range of hydrogen sensors. TTI will also show Honeywell’s extensive range of medical sensors from board mount pressure sensors to transducers and airflow sensors.

TE Connectivity’s broad portfolio of sensor technologies for HVAC and medical solutions, includes brands like First Sensor, SMI, Measurement Specialties, Betatherm, and Jaquet. But maybe you didn’t know that TE has been supplying European Space Agency (ESA)-qualified NTC thermistors to ESA space initiatives for more than 20 years, and has recently launched a low cost version for the growing low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite market.

Amphenol Sensor Technology Group (ASTG) includes Amphenol Advanced Sensors, SGX Sensortech, Piher Sensing Systems, All Sensors, SSI Technologies and i2S. TTI will show an extensive range of Amphenol Advanced Sensors for battery management thermal runaway and leak detection sensors, and SGX Sensortech’s TRDU5 battery failure detection sensors that can detect H2, CO, and ammonia (NH₃) in sub-1s response time. For industrial applications in harsh ATEX environments, SGX Sensortech’s next-generation INIR2 digital infrared sensors can detect flammable or semi-flammable refrigerant gas leaks, like R290, R1234 and NH₃.

Amphenol Piher brings new Hall-effect open loop current sensors for EV motor control and ASIL C/D level rotary position sensors with full redundancy and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, SENT).

TTI will also feature Sensata’s new PTE7100 series hermetic analogue pressure sensor range, which could be the ideal industrial solution for challenging measurement environments with extreme shock, vibration, burst pressures, and wide temperature ranges.

Murata has a wide range of accelerometers, inclinometers, and gyro sensors. Replacing the popular SCA103 family, the next-generation SCL3400 family of 2-axis inclinometers can withstand tough environmental conditions. These new sensors are ideal for IMUs, tilt sensing, and guidance systems. Murata’s gyro sensors are widely used in drones and position detection for navigation in e-mobility applications.

Littelfuse is well known for its extensive range of magnetic sensors for proximity, level, speed, and flow sensing applications. Come to the TTI booth and take a look at the recently launched current sensor range, which offers tailored solutions for battery disconnect units (BDUs), power distribution units (PDUs), on-board charger (OBC), and driver invertor and motor control applications.

Visit TTI’s booth to see all these new exciting products and receive help with recommending the best-fit sensor technologies for your design.
